Victims’ rights when making a complaint
(according to Article 58 of Law 4478/2017)
1. Victims shall receive, upon request, a copy of the complaint they have lodged. To this end, the competent official who receives the complaint must inform the victims of their aforementioned right.
2. Victims who do not understand or speak Greek may submit their complaint in a language they understand or may receive the necessary language assistance, but always under the terms and conditions laid down in the Code of Criminal Procedure or other specific criminal laws.
3. Victims who do not understand or speak Greek shall receive, upon request, a free translation of the document referred to in paragraph 1 in a language they understand.
